As a business we deal in implication

A post from Paul Woods – Managing Director

At the age of 52 and with a very demanding near teenager son, I am not quite as sociable as I used to be.

However, when I used to be sociable and go out and stuff, people would say:

“So, Paul what do you do”

My reply would be

“I deal in implication”

They would understandably get curious and say “Eh”

So I would explain what dealing in implication meant.

See to me I do not run a courier company, I run a business that makes a difference every day.

People use our service when it is absolutely imperative that their delivery lands on time and in the same condition it was despatched.

There is no margin for error.

We could be moving a part for a machine that is broken, and because that machine is broken, and entire production facility cannot function, the cost of a same day courier is nothing compares to the lost productivity.

We could be moving a mixing desk to a production company at Glastonbury and if the product does not get there on time, it is going to be a very quiet festival indeed.

We could be moving medicine that unless the patient receives it on time, it could make them very ill.

We could be moving a forgotten passport to enable someone to catch an imperative flight.

That is why I say as a business we deal in implication.

Sometimes the implication of something not getting there is seriously detrimental to an individual or a company, and in the circumstances the cost of a courier is negligible.

If this resonates and you move consignments that simply must get there, put your trust in Proactive Despatch and reach out to us:
